Hurricane Erin Staying Away

Hurricane Erin won’t come near Nova Scotia. Environment Canada says the storm is tracking  to stay offshore, but it will bring heavy wave activity to Eastern Canada. The weather agency says heavy wave action is also expected along the south-facing Atlantic coastlines of Nova Scotia Friday and Saturday.  It is not expected to impact land other than the ocean swell, which officials say may bring hazardous surf conditions including riptides.
