Bridgewater Police believe alcohol and speed were contributing factors in a crash early Sunday morning. Police say they received two 9-1-1 calls when residents in the city’s southwest end heard a large crash. They arrived to find a vehicle had driven through the Bridgewater Arby’s restaurant. Both the business and vehicle were heavily damaged. Two adult women were found at the scene and taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries. The crash is still under investigation, and police ask if you have any information to give them a call.
In a conversation with the Arby's franchise owner, she hopes to re-open later this week.
