Lunenburg County RCMP is searching for a suspect involved in the theft of an ATM in Hubbards. On August 6th, at 5:00 a.m., police were called to a business on Highway 329. They learned a blue Nissan Rogue SUV had backed up to the door of the business, and a person had removed the ATM from the front lobby. There was significant damage caused to the front of the building. The suspect is described as a tall, slender man wearing a trench coat, balaclava and gloves. Thanks to tips from the public, officers have recovered several pieces of the ATM along the sides of the road. Anyone with information or dash cam, or video surveillance is asked to contact police.
