The Lunenburg County District RCMP is looking for the public’s help to identify suspects responsible for break-ins in Barss Corner and New Germany. On Sunday at least one person tried to get into a gas station in Barrs Corner, just before 3 in the morning. The alarm was triggered and while they didn’t get in, they caused damage to the building trying to. Later that morning, police were called to a workshop in Barss Corner where at least one person had gained access to the shop overnight and taken approximately $8,000 of tools. Then on January 29th police were called to a business in New Germany where thieves had made off with 4 thousand dollars worth of equipment. The RCMP does not have a suspect description but does ask everyone to be vigilant for suspicious activity.
