Bridgewater Police no longer believe a man described as dangerous and wanted on a Canada-wide parole warrant is in the area. Police were called by staff at the South Shore Regional Hospital yesterday after the male had tried to get medical treatment after being at the hospital for a few hours. He had arrived at the hospital in a red Dodge Caravan driven by a woman. Bridgewater Police and the RCMP tracked the man to LaHave Street and then responded to a sighting at South Shore Centre. He was not found nor was the vehicle. Police say there were no offences committed in Bridgewater and at no time was the public in danger. Anyone with any information is asked to call police.
