A man suspected of being involved in a firearms complaint in Bridgewater has been arrested. The Nova Scotia RCMP received a complaint about a man with a firearm on Highway 325 around 9:00 p.m. on July 29th. They learned the Bridgewater Police were investigating a firearms complaint an hour earlier. The 30-year-old from Rhodes Corner was arrested. Police found a loaded firearm and ammunition in the vehicle. He faces multiple charges. Lunenburg District RCMP later supported Bridgewater Police Service in the execution of a search warrant in Bridgewater, leading to the seizure of a second firearm associated with a different person.
