A 15-year old Bridgewater teen accused of plotting to attack her school will remain in custody for at least another month. The youth appeared in Bridgewater youth court Monday on charges of conspiracy to commit murder and uttering threats in a plot to attack Park View Education Centre. A Gladue Report will now be prepared. That outlines unique or systemic factors involving an Indigenous offender. The Crown opposes bail for the teen. It is alleged the girl and a 14-year-old boy from Manitoba were plotting online to attack their respective schools. Last week in a search of her home police found handwritten plans, an imitation pipe bomb and weapons and an assault weapon.
