Canadians have until June 1st to renew their coverage under the Canadian Dental Care Plan. If renewals are not submitted on time, a new application will have to be submitted, and any dental work performed before the new application is approved won’t be covered. The federal dental insurance program is available to anyone who doesn’t already have benefits through work and has a net adjusted annual family income of less than $90,000. To register, you must have filed a 2025 tax return. Renewals can be done online through the My Service Canada Account portal.
