More residents around the Lake Gorge fire have been told to leave their homes as the fire burns out of control. The Department of Natural Resources says while there are no reports of damage, crews are working on structure protection. The fire has grown to 290 hectares and is believed to be human-caused. The D.N. R. says despite windy conditions Wednesday (today) crews are making good progress building dozer guards and laying wet lines with hoses and pumps.
