The Nova Scotia Energy Board will review Nova Scotia Power. The legislation, tabled on Wednesday, says it will explore a performance-based regulation for the privately owned utility. Premier Tim Houston says the review will examine whether linking the company’s reliability, customer service, and other measures to its income could improve service. The provincial Liberals say they welcome an independent review of Nova Scotia Power. But the party says the review should also examine the utility’s broader challenges, including last year’s cyber breach.
