Flags have been lowered to half-mast in many Lunenburg County communities. The Towns of Lunenburg, Mahone Bay and Bridgewater lowered their flags yesterday. Although each town posted its own message to social media, the overwhelming sentiment expressed was one of support for the families and friends facing the loss of their loved ones. Bridgewater also extended condolences and support to the residents of Kitigan Zibi Anishinābeg, where two children and their father died in a suspected murder-suicide.
