Parking meters will be moving into the future in Lunenburg. Town staff will introduce the use of the mobile app HotSpot for parking fees. Officials say the option is much cheaper than replacing meters or installing payment kiosks. The app allows users to pay with debit or credit cards, or online, but the meters will still accept coins. The HotSpot system will be in place next year.
