In an effort to monitor water consumption, Lunenburg will be installing water meters on residential properties. The town says with drought-like conditions increasing, the meters will assist with finding leaks and monitoring of consumption, which will encourage efficient use of drinking water. In residents' December water bills, a notice introducing Neptune Water Technologies, which will be installing the meters, will be included along with instructions on how to schedule an installation appointment.
