Water main flushing will take place in Mahone Bay next week. Routine overnight flushing will take place from 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. on both Wednesday and Thursday. Residents can expect reduced water pressure, discoloured water and intermittent service disruption. Residents should shut off the main shut-off valve and the water supply valve to hot water heaters to prevent discoloured water from entering the hot water heater. If your water is discoloured, do not do laundry or use the dishwasher. Run cold water through your taps until the water runs clear.
