Mahone Bay officials say the Edgewater Project is in its final stages. The project team reports that grading of the new active transportation trail is well underway, and the waterfront fencing will be finished within the next two weeks. By the third week of May, remaining curbs, pavements, parking areas, and accessible hardscaped spaces will be completed, followed by the final top layer of asphalt. Coastal Action will update the next steps for planting the living shoreline in the next few weeks.
