The McKay Bridge will be closed for the weekend, but when it reopens, you’ll be able to drive faster on it. The bridge will be closed from 7:00 p.m. Friday to 5:30 a.m. Monday so crews can finish work on the bridge after the toll booths were removed. Right now, the speed limit is 50 kilometres an hour, but when the bridge reopens Monday it will increase to 70 kilometres an hour.
