An Upper Sackville man has been charged again with second-degree murder. In April of 2017, the body of 27-year-old Laura Ross was found in a burned-out garage on her property. It was determined that the fire had been intentionally set. In July 2017, police charged Joshua Eric Crowell with second-degree murder, but the charge was withdrawn by the Crown in 2019. After further exhaustive investigation, police recharged Crowell with second-degree murder.
