The province has launched a new website where people can easily update their Medical Services Insurance information. It’s available to people 19 and older who have a health card and are Canadian citizens or permanent residents. The new website allows people to renew a health card, register for programs and submit forms electronically. Also, Nova Scotians can opt in to take part in medical research in areas like cancer care, women’s health, vaccine research and chronic pain management.
