Nova Scotia Health is preparing to launch its new health information system and some temporary service adjustments are in place. During the transition some d,ata is being reviewed and validated. During this time, certain measures, including the Emergency Department Wait Times tool, may be delayed, updated or temporarily unavailable. Officials expect that registration and appointment processes across some sites may take longer than usual during the transition. Appointment reminder calls will be temporarily paused. Nova Scotia Health says the new system is a major step forward in improving how care teams access and manage patient information.
