Nova Scotia Helps with New Brunswick Fires

Nova Scotia is sending a fire crew to help New Brunswick, where several wildfires are burning out of control. The Minister of Natural Resources says even though crews are fighting small fires throughout Nova Scotia, the province can spare one crew to head to New Brunswick. Minister Tory Rushton says, “It’s the right thing to do.” The twenty firefighters and a representative from the department will be assigned to the Irishtown fire near Moncton. They will be deployed for two weeks unless they are needed back here sooner.
