Minor Hockey players in the province will now be required to complete mandatory consent and hazing training. The training is a pilot program from Avalon Sexual Assault Centre and Hockey Nova Scotia. The program comes on the heels of two under-15 players from Colchester County who were charged with sexual assault following a hazing incident last year. One of the accused has pleaded guilty, and the other has pleaded not guilty.
