The opposition NDP is calling on the Nova Scotia government to provide more support to groups that provide food to people in need. Susna Leblanc wrote to ministers calling for a sustainable, stable funding for organizations providing food. The NDP cited the recent Canada Food Price Report, which estimates that a family of four will see their food costs rise by $1,000 next year.
