Property values hit record

For the first time, property values in Nova Scotia have hit the $200 billion mark. Nova Scotia’s Property Valuation Services Corporation says the value of homes is up eight per cent over last year to $206.3 billion. Properties around Halifax are driving the increase at $113.8 billion, but condos, apartments, and duplexes are seeing growth outside Halifax. The 2026 property assessments will soon be sent out.
