So far, the Nova Scotia Progressive Conservatives spent the most money during last year's election. The Tories turned in expenses of nearly $1.4 million. The largest expense was for publicity and advertising at almost $850,000. The Liberals spent just over $1 million, and the party’s largest expense was also publicity and advertising. So far, the NDP has not submitted its expenses.
