A rally is being held in front of Halifax City Hall to protest the federal firearms buyback program. Dubbed the Halifax Rally Against the Gun Grab by the Canadian Coalition for Firearms Rights, it will be held outside Halifax City Hall on Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Organizers say the rally is an opportunity for lawful firearms owners, hunters, sport shooters, and supporters of responsible firearm ownership to stand together and send a clear message against the ban on some firearms.
