Changes are coming next month to curbside recycling in the province. The list of household items will include recycling multi-layer paper containers, such as ice cream cartons and cookie dough spiral cans, and plastic tubes, such as toothpaste and deodorant. The new regulations come into effect on December 1st and aim to shift the cost for recycling plastic and paper products onto the companies that produce them.
