The Susie’s Lake wildfire near Bayer’s Lake has been determined to be human-caused. The Department of Natural Resources says firefighters found an open fire pit on Tuesday. Whomever was responsible had left the area. The fire has shrunk to 15 hectares and is under control. Motorists are still being asked to avoid the area and an evacuation order is still in effect for businesses on the west side of Chain Lake Drive.
