The Town of Lunenburg council has approved the Town and Water Utility Capital Budgets. The town’s capital budget comes in at $3.815 million, and the Water Utility Capital Budget is $777,000. There were a few adjustments before the vote, including removing funding for the Recreation Master Plan and for the preparation of the Lunenburg Academy public washroom. Accessibility improvements to the Back Harbour/Maple stairway, originally planned for next year, will now be done this year.
