Shifting winds because of Hurricane Erin are the biggest concern for crews battling the Long Lake wildfire complex in Annapolis Valley. The fire remains approximately 32 square kilometres in size and has not grown in size by Tuesday, but remains the largest wildfire in the province. The fire remains out of control and 61 structures in the area now have sprinkler systems installed to protect them from fire.
