Evacuees from the wildfire in the Annapolis Valley will receive emergency financial aid. The province made the announcement on Tuesday. The money will be based on the number of days people are out of their homes. Premier Tim Houston says people evacuated between four and seven days will receive $500 per adult and $200 per child. The amount will increase the longer people remain out of their homes to a maximum of $3,000 for adults and $1,750 per child. 330 homes have been evacuated in the area.
