Winning Wines

Four wines have received the 2025 Lieutenant-Governor’s Award for Excellence in Nova Scotia Wines. Blomidon Estate Winery won two awards for its 2022 Reserve Chardonnay and its 2022 Chardonnay. Domaine de Grand Pre won for its 2019 Blanc de Blanc and Lightfoot and Wolfville Vineyards won for its 2017 Small Lot Trio Brut. There were 33 wines from 12 wineries submitted for the award. The award is administered annually by Wine Growers Nova Scotia and Taste of Nova Scotia in partnership with the Office of the Lieutenant-Governor.
