The Maritime Heritage Festival will launch for the first time on the Halifax waterfront next month. The free event will include activities aboard CSS Acadia and HMCS Sackville, pop-up exhibitions from the Nova Scotia Museum and Bluenose II, ocean and naval presentations, and live musical performances. The festival is organized by the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic with key support from the Canadian Naval Memorial Trust and Build Nova Scotia and runs from the 12th to the 14th.
